In this laptop lifestyle, there are many options to go about with this. One is you can set up an online store. Entrepreneurs who run their business use a platform like Etsy to sell their product. About 5 years ago I was sick. The year before that I stumbled multiple videos in running your business online by opening an online store thus Etsy pops up I signed up but I just barely making any sales because I did not find out yet how to market my products in the plan.

Now that I am more equipped to tackle this with more and more information I can grab a hold of in implementing these newfound pieces of knowledge I am excited to do what I have been wanting to do in a long time. Is to open again an Etsy shop.

There are 6 concentrated areas to do this in marketing your products on Etsy. This is versatile you can use some of these in opening your independent online shop too, but let’s just stick with Etsy for this time. Shall we?

The Tools

Products

This is self-explanatory if you have an online shop you must make physical products to sell especially handmade. You can start with what you like to make. This is important because if you make a physical product and you have high demand, it can be tiresome making those products repeatedly with having the pressure of making it high quality too. With that make sure you endeavor for quality over quantity. That will impress the customer to buy your product.

Photos

Every listing that you put up should have some photos to go with it. This is going to help the customer get an idea about your product so they can determine if it is the right one for them. Etsy has a high standard when it comes to pictures so make sure that you get good ones. In addition, there is an Etsy article help on their website sort of photography 101 on taking excellent photos for your products.

Take your time on this. It takes practice just to get things right. Experiment a few times, and even ask for some assistance from someone who knows how to do photography if you are stuck for ways to make the product pictures better.

Tags

There are 13 tags to fill. You must fill all 13 tags for Etsy SEO and have a better chance for a customer to find you. This is not easy for you will sometimes run out of keywords to put in the tags. Describe the item and make it count. In the video, it explains a way to utilize tags correctly. You have a certain mindset to follow.

Customer Service

Customers want to know there is a human behind the shop. So, make sure you strive for excellent customer service. This aspect of marketing your Etsy store is needed especially when a customer wants custom orders or if you offer one. Be polite treat your customer like a “guest” in your store.

In some instances, if they have a custom order they would want to reach out to you to thank you for the handmade product that they purchase to their liking.

Branding

Provide enough that the customer can cherish and remember you. This is a sort of promoting your product from start to finish. Your website logo, business card, your packaging and customer service go hand in hand with this tool.

Social Media

You can find your customers in this and drive traffic to your site. Etsy does make it a bit easier to keep up with your social media. Etsy allows you to automatically link your Twitter and Facebook accounts to your shop. Other Etsy shoppers can follow or like you shop to keep up to date on new products.

What is the best way to go about it?
Where do I start?
Can you really make money online?
Where to look for work at home jobs?

Whether you are a stay at home mom or a working mom who wants to spend more time in with your kids because they are still little or vice versa of a stay at home dad, or probably you just don’t like the long commute to work, or you are a student who wants to get some extra cash on the side there are work at home options out there.  Who knows you might superbly like it and make a steady living out of it, as mostly some ended up and do. All you got to do is look and do your research.

 For the past roughly 5-6 years or so I have been a progeny from those types of people scouring for answers on the internet for what seemed a good chunk of 8 months to a year researching before I do the actual work. I have tried looking at ads for work at home. Listing for a free webinar for work at home. Watched a TON load of YouTube videos of influencers and content creators online and offline on how they just do it successfully, to be honest, I was desperate to make a living on a laptop lifestyle without facing any boss or coworkers, being I am a little shy around people. I think I dread if I have the job interview I would fail the first crucial step to get your feet in the door. Another chip on what seemed to be of low self-esteem. I would not have wins but only losses which is a detriment for getting back up there and looking for what I really wanted in life which is to work from home. No thank you, I will just save my energy where I do what I love, and I will have a chance of succeeding in this avenue of earning money.

The Outcome

These are just some of what I gathered in the past 6 years or so. Researching, some of them I did not do but some I implement into finding what suits best for me. Up top is my video explaining goals to reach and what I find was helpful to me in seeking a work from home strategy that I can earn an income stream.

While some of them are a use of apps and selling in a physical marketplace, I included it in the video because it is still reasonable to go about it without too much effort. If you don’t want to do it look for other ways you can work online in this guide.

Early on in my struggle to reach my kitchen cupboards, I cannot for the life of me think of a solution to this dilemma because I was looking for a solution on hand but not there. For everything under the sun, why do I have to go under gloomy skies of depression? A thing you don’t know about me is, I have it. I have been diagnosed with Major Depression from 14 years of age and has been taking medication ever since. It is a traumatic turn in my life migrated straight out of the country of the Philippines only to move in an unfamiliar place. I must start from scratch: friends, an adopted attitude towards people, culture, and to desensitize myself to the permanent place to live.

Our Family

To tell you honestly, we were all hit by depression. Mom, dad and one of my brother. But I was the only one reacted overly to it. I can’t stand injustice. I can’t stand favoritism, an act of bribe, and above all else bullying. And all these unnerving reactions to CONFRONT in my mind was not going to be assured by my parents who are not combative (MEANING THEY JUST CAN'T SAY WHATEVER THEY LIKE AND REBUTLE). They let the situation be. And, “God can handle it.”, according to my dad.  “What can we do?”, according to my mom. I am not combative either, but it just gets under my skin to let just everybody say something degenerate my family’s moral. And to be peaceable was above important that my parents set an example to us. I should do the same.

I have also personal issues to deal with. The disappointment, cannot live up to responsibilities because of my weight. Shutting everybody out, gloomy days, mood swings, given up and wanting to lose everything was just the tip of the iceberg.

My Story

Depression affects me indefinitely through and through. Since my reactions are SILENT AND NONEXISTENT from everybody else because I just SMILE and pretend nothing happen, I’ve lived myself a big patch of discouragement. And the only thing that I BLAME IS “ME” according to everybody else I only must blame me because I let it get to me. How would you react if you have chosen to go a path just to sacrifice “the queen” if it were a chess piece? Not a usual reaction you would get. To screen off the VALUE of friends from you. Somebody told me I was trying to be a hero when all I did was doing what I know to show them to let them feel and regret when I am gone. If all the commentaries that they like to say to me such as: “you’re an exemplary to the congregation”, “you’re commendable”, “Beautiful Kay”, we’re all true. Hardly believable!

So, I want to get my hands dirty too. They backstab, they scheme, they talk about you, they are so glamorous about achievements. Their kids only talk about getting married and have babies. And the encouragement of these parents to do these things was only putting a weight on my heart. They need parental suggestions from the Bible. Totally out of the spectrum of reach from my parent’s advocacy in our family. True, we're not all raised and brought up the same. But shouldn’t we scratch that out and let what we LEARN INITIALLY SPEAK INTO OUR HEARTS?

The Solution

As for the solution to these I said it before, I will say it again: There must be divine intervention that can erode these people out of my life and never let me see them again! Honestly, it was a blessing came true.
